Blanket (“we”, “us”, “our”) is built for lightweight, anonymous sharing. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

What we collect • Account basics: a generated user identifier and your chosen username. • User content: posts you create (text, captions, images) and actions like wraps/reposts, blocks, and reports. • Service data: technical data needed to run the service (e.g., IP address and basic device/OS info as part of normal internet requests), error logs, and security logs. We do not collect contacts, precise location, or advertising identifiers.

How we use data • Provide core features (posting, feed, wraps, report/block, profanity masking). • Keep the service safe (moderation, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, fraud/spam prevention). • Comply with legal obligations.

No ads & no cross-app tracking We do not sell personal data, we don’t run third-party ads, and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

Processors / third parties We use trusted providers to operate Blanket: • Google Firebase & Google Cloud (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Functions, Storage) to store posts, run the profanity sanitizer, and deliver the app. • Apple (App Store & system services) to distribute the app and provide OS-level crash logs. These processors handle data on our behalf under their terms and may process it in the United States or other regions with comparable protections.

Data retention • Posts & media: kept until you delete them or delete your account. • Account deletion: from the app’s Settings you can delete your account; we remove your user record, posts, images, and wraps. Backups/system logs may persist briefly per provider policy before permanent deletion. • Reports & safety records: we may retain minimal records needed to enforce platform safety and legal compliance.

Your choices • Mature language filter: toggle on/off in Help → Content Preferences. • Report/block: report posts or block users from the ••• menu. • Delete content: remove your own posts at any time. • Delete account: Settings → “Delete Account” permanently removes your account and associated content.

Children Blanket is intended for users aged 17+. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a minor has used Blanket, contact us and we will promptly delete the account and associated data.

International users By using Blanket, you understand that your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our processors operate, which may have different data protection laws than your country.

Changes We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the “Effective” date above and, when appropriate, provide additional notice in the app.
